1. What these are
By commercial communications we mean any message (email, and in the future SMS or WhatsApp) that we send you for informational or promotional purposes about our services: news, reminders about procedures that might interest you, occasional campaigns, etc. This does not include messages related to the management of a procedure you have already entrusted to us (confirmations, case-status notices, messaging with your caseworker), which form part of the service itself and do not require this separate consent.
2. The rule that really matters: exclusively our own use, never shared with third parties
Your contact details (email, and your name to personalise the message) are used solely and exclusively so that Gestoría Online Gala can send you its own advertising. We do not sell, rent, transfer or share them with any other company, advertiser, social network or advertising intermediary so that they, in turn, can send you anything of theirs — never. The only exception, and it has nothing to do with advertising, is the sharing strictly necessary with the providers who make the technical operation of this website and the sending of the email itself possible (for example, the mail server we use to send it, or the database provider where your client record is stored) — the same and only recipients already listed in detail in section 5 of the Privacy Policy, who act as data processors under contract and never use your data on their own account.
We do not use third-party advertising networks (Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, etc.) nor do we share your email with them for "custom audiences" or similar purposes — in fact, this website does not currently load any script of that kind (see the Cookies Policy).
3. Your consent is always optional and separate
In accordance with Article 21 of Spain's Law 34/2002 (LSSICE, the e-commerce and information society services law) and the GDPR, the commercial-communications checkbox you see when creating your account:
- Is never pre-checked by default — technically, if for any reason we cannot verify that you gave your consent, the system assumes you did NOT give it, never the other way round.
- Is never required to create your account or entrust us with a procedure — you will never have to agree to receive advertising in order to use our services.
- Is independent of the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy: you can accept the latter (essential to work with us) without accepting to receive commercial communications.
4. How to unsubscribe (in a single click, genuinely)
You can withdraw your consent at any time, just as easily as you gave it, through any of these means:
- The unsubscribe link included at the bottom of every commercial email we send you — a single click takes you to a confirmation page, and once confirmed, it is deactivated instantly in our system; there is no need to log in or write to anyone.
- By writing to info@gestoriagala.com stating that you wish to unsubscribe.
- From "My Account", if that option is available at the time of your request.
Unsubscribing from commercial communications does not in any way affect the notices related to your ongoing procedures, which you will continue to receive normally.
5. How we record your decision (and why this is not just words)
We keep a record of whether or not you agreed to receive commercial communications, together with the date, as proof that your consent (or lack of it) is properly respected. Every advertising send we make is directed, at the very moment of sending, only to those who hold that authorisation active at that instant — if you unsubscribed a minute before a campaign is launched, you will no longer receive it, even if you were subscribed at the time it was being prepared.
