1. Who we are and what these terms apply to
Gestoría Online Gala (hereinafter, "the Agency", "we", "us") provides administrative agency services, tax, employment and legal advisory services, and processing of paperwork before public and private bodies, both in person at our office at C/Sacedón 8, 19200, Azuqueca de Henares (Guadalajara, Spain), and through this website (gestoriagala.com) and the HERMES case-tracking platform. The company's full identifying details (Tax ID, professional registration) are set out in the Legal Notice.
These terms apply to any procedure, enquiry or request you submit through this website, whether or not you have created a client account.
2. Nature of the engagement: agency (mandate) contract
When you instruct us to carry out a procedure, the legal relationship between you and the Agency is that of a mandate contract (articles 1709 et seq. of the Spanish Civil Code): you instruct us to carry out a specific piece of administrative management on your behalf (vehicle registration, processing of a benefit claim, incorporation of a company, etc.) and we act with the diligence of a competent professional to carry it out, without this implying a guaranteed outcome where that outcome depends on the decision of a third party (a public administration, bank, registry, etc.).
3. How the engagement is formed
- You fill in the questionnaire for the procedure you are interested in and attach, where requested, the necessary documents.
- If the procedure has a cost and this is not the first time you check the price, the price is shown to you before you continue.
- To finalise the engagement you must log in or create a client account (see "Client account" below); without this, your case file cannot be generated and cannot be tracked.
- If the procedure has a cost, you are redirected to the payment gateway (Redsys) or, if you choose to pay at our office, the engagement is registered all the same with that payment method noted.
- You will receive confirmation and will be able to track your case file and communicate with your assigned case handler from the "My Account" section.
4. Client account
To finalise any procedure that has a cost or requires documentation, a client account is mandatory. This allows us to:
- Generate a real, traceable case file, visible to you in "My Account" and to the Agency's team.
- Communicate with you securely about the status of your case file.
- Safeguard the documentation you provide us in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the accuracy of the data you provide us. You may request deletion of your account at any time from "My Account" (see the corresponding section of the Privacy Policy).
5. Prices, payment and invoicing
The prices shown on the website correspond to our professional fees and, unless stated otherwise, do not include duties, taxes or other third-party costs (for example, the Spanish Property Transfer Tax, DGT [traffic authority] fees, registry fees, etc.) that are inherent to the procedure and are payable by the client. Payment can be made online by card via Redsys (a banking payment gateway; the Agency never stores your card details) or in person at our office, depending on your selection when finalising the engagement.
6. Timelines
Processing times depend largely on public bodies and third parties outside the Agency's control (the DGT, Social Security, the Spanish Tax Agency, registries, notaries, etc.), so any indicative timeframe given on the website or by our team does not constitute a contractual guarantee of completion, without prejudice to our commitment to act with due diligence and to keep you informed of the status of your case file.
7. Documentation provided by the client
You are responsible for ensuring that the documentation you provide us is truthful, valid and corresponds to your identity or to that of the person you represent. The Agency may reject or request correction of documentation that does not meet these requirements. For information on how we process and retain this documentation, see the Privacy Policy.
8. Right of withdrawal
If you are acting as a consumer (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, Spain's consolidated Consumer and User Protection Act), you have a period of 14 calendar days to withdraw from the engagement without giving any reason, unless the procedure has already been initiated before the relevant body with your express authorisation (in which case, under consumer protection law, the right of withdrawal may lapse in respect of the part already carried out). Fees already accrued for management effectively carried out are not refundable.
9. Liability
The Agency is liable for the correct provision of the service with the diligence proper to the profession of administrative agent (gestor administrativo). It is not liable for delays, refusals or unfavourable decisions attributable to the Administration, to third parties, or to inaccuracy of the data or documents provided by the client.
10. Amendment of these terms
We may update these terms to reflect legal, technical or service changes. Substantial changes will be announced on this same page along with their update date; continued use of our services after a change implies acceptance of it.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by Spanish law. To resolve any dispute, and without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings before the courts of your domicile or before accredited consumer alternative dispute resolution bodies under Law 7/2017, of 2 November (Spain's law on alternative dispute resolution in consumer matters), the parties may submit to the Courts and Tribunals corresponding under applicable consumer protection law. (The European Commission's former Online Dispute Resolution platform, created by Regulation (EU) 524/2013, ceased operating on 20 July 2025 following its discontinuation — it no longer exists and is not linked here.)
