What is this certificate?
It is a document issued by the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) that officially certifies a person was not required to file an income tax return for a given tax year.
What is it needed for?
- · To apply for the Minimum Living Income (IMV) when no return was filed
- · To process pensions and Social Security benefits
- · To access housing grants (youth rental voucher, rental assistance)
- · To prove income level for scholarships and grants
- · For procedures with municipal or regional Social Services
- · As protection in case of a possible retroactive review by the AEAT
