1. Why this page exists
Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act) requires transparency about the use of AI systems. Although Gestoría Online Gala's activity does not involve "high-risk" AI systems under that Regulation, we want to be just as clear with you about where we use these tools and, above all, where we do NOT use them.
2. Where we use AI today
- Development and maintenance of this website and our internal platform (HERMES): we use artificial intelligence assistants (AI-assisted programming tools) to help write, review and maintain the code of our systems. All of the output of this work is reviewed and approved by a person before going live — the AI never publishes or activates anything on its own.
- Drafting and organising internal content: occasional support in drafting texts, internal documentation or drafts, always reviewed by our team before publication.
3. Where we do NOT use AI
- No decision about your case (acceptance, valuation, deadlines, final price, resolution) is ever made automatically. Every procedure you entrust to us is reviewed and handled by people on our team.
- We do not use AI to automatically verify, validate or reject the documentation you send us (ID card, permits, certificates, etc.). That review is always carried out by a caseworker.
- There is no automated profiling of clients for commercial or risk purposes using AI.
- We do not train any AI model with your personal data or with the documentation you provide us. The AI tools we use internally (see point 2) have no access to your case file or your documents: they are used only on the code and infrastructure of our systems, never on your data as a client.
4. If this changes
If in the future we incorporate AI into any process that does handle your personal data (for example, automatic document classification or a customer-service assistant), we will update this page before activating it, explaining in the same detail exactly what that tool does, what data it uses, and what human oversight exists over its results.
